About the role

The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and monitoring construction activities to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site
• Ensure all works are carried out according to approved plans, specifications, and project requirements
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and overall site productivity
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project personnel
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and construction standards
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents and identify discrepancies or required revisions
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports
• Monitor project schedules and assist in resolving delays, technical issues, and site problems
• Ensure proper documentation of site activities, materials, inspections, and accomplishments
• Assist in quantity take-offs, material estimates, cost monitoring, and project billing when required

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; PRC license is required.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in construction/project engineering.
• Knowledgeable in construction methods, engineering plans, specifications, quantity estimates, and project documentation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant engineering software.
• Strong skills in project coordination, site supervision, problem-solving, and technical reporting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and management.
