Job summary

COMMSEC INC. is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our telecommunications team in Pasay City, Metro Manila.

This full-time role oversees on-site operations, ensuring quality standards and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable telecom infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in ECE or related field, 3–5 years ICT deployment experience, and strong LAN/WAN, fiber optics, and safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field.
• 3–5 years of ICT deployment or site engineering experience.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork and clear communication skills.
• Willing to be assigned to multiple sites including Mexico Pampanga, Urdaneta Pangasinan, or Pasay as needed.

Responsibilities

• Site implementation: supervise installation of data networks, telecommunications, CCTV, access control, and AV systems.
• Drawing verification: read, interpret floor plans, cabling diagrams, and comms room layouts.
• Technical support: troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues on-site.
• Quality & testing: conduct site inspections and witness testing and commissioning of components.
• Stakeholder coordination: coordinate daily tasks with contractors, IT teams, and project managers.
• Progress reporting: monitor daily site activities and report material usage and workflow progress.

About the role

COMMSEC INC. is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our telecommunications team in Pasay City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure across our service areas. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site technical operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable communication solutions to our customers. This role is essential to maintaining the integrity and performance of our telecommunications network.

Key responsibilities

• Site Implementation: Supervise the installation of data networks, telecommunications, CCTV, access control, and audio-visual systems

• Drawing Verification: Read, interpret, and review floor plans, cabling diagrams, and comms room layouts for accuracy.

• Technical Support: Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues directly at the project site.

• Quality & Testing: Conduct site inspections and witness the testing and commissioning of active and passive network components.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate daily tasks with contractors, IT teams, and project managers.

• Progress Reporting: Monitor daily site activities and submit updates on material usage and workflow progress.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in ECE Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in ICT deployment, structured cabling, or site engineering.

• Technical Skills: Practical knowledge of LAN/WAN setups, fiber optics, server rooms, and safety systems.

• Soft Skills: Strong problem‑solving abilities, teamwork, and clear communication for on‑site coordination.

• willing to assign in Mexico pampanga or Urdaneta pangasinan site and pasay office if needed
