Job summary

PHirst Park Homes Inc. (Affordable Housing) is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer to join our Site Operations team. The role supports the Site Operations Head to ensure target schedules and costs are met while maintaining quality and safety across all sites.

You will review practices, share best methods, and drive improvements, with at least 5 years in construction and 3 years in supervision. A postgraduate degree is a plus and knowledge of local codes is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably horizontal development.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Licensed Civil Engineer.
• A postgraduate degree is an advantage.
• Knowledge of applicable real estate policies, standard practices, and relevant laws (NBC, Fire Code, PD 957, BP 220).
• Knowledge of land development and housing construction.
• Knowledge of Construction Health and Safety.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Strong Project Management and leadership abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good negotiation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and efficient compliance to set targets in all project sites (schedule and cost).
• Adhere to quality and workmanship procedures across all sites.
• Share knowledge and best practices to continuously improve.
• Oversee all activities within the area of responsibility.
• Assess current practices and recommend improvements to be at par with the industry.
• Ensure adherence to environmental, occupational health and safety requirements in all managed sites.
• Review, analyze and report project performance within the area of responsibility.
• Assist in all project concerns from construction to post construction activities.
• Adapt best programs/solutions to other projects.
