Job summary

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a Shift Engineer (RME/REE Registered) to join our maintenance engineering team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

This full-time role focuses on reliability, efficiency, and safety of engineering systems across managed properties. The candidate should hold a PE license or RME/REE certification and have 0–1 year of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, power distribution, and fire safety systems.

Qualifications

• PE license or RME/REE certification required by Philippine standards.
• 0–1 year of professional experience in maintenance engineering, facilities management, or related technical roles.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems (HVAC, plumbing, power distribution, fire safety).
• Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting, diagnostic testing, and preventative maintenance practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during shift assignments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across teams and departments.
• Physical capability to perform demanding tasks, including climbing, bending, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect engineering systems, equipment, and facilities during assigned shifts to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance activities and respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and equipment failures
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and building systems to identify and resolve technical issues
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and any incidents or concerns identified during shifts
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors to execute repair and maintenance work in accordance with established schedules and procedures
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies at all times
• Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment
• Communicate effectively with management and other team members regarding system status, maintenance needs, and any operational concerns
• Respond to tenant or occupant requests and concerns related to building systems and facilities
• Support the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and contribute to cost-effective facility management
