Job summary

Avensys Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking a Team Lead, Settlement Accounting to guide a dedicated team in settlement accounting, financial reporting, and control improvements. You will partner with Treasury, Operations, and Technology to drive process enhancements and risk management in a dynamic financial services setting.

You will oversee reconciliations, month-end close, and variance analysis while mentoring staff to achieve accuracy and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• 4+ years in accounting, with financial reporting and reconciliations experience.
• At least 1 year in team leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily settlement accounting and financial reporting activities with accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and variance analysis.
• Investigate discrepancies and drive root-cause analyses and resolutions.
• Coach and develop a high-performing settlement accounting team.
• Strengthen financial controls and ensure compliance with policies.
