Job summary

Avensys Consulting is seeking a Senior Accountant in the Philippines to own the month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting for a fast-paced, global business. You will partner with Finance, Operations, and other teams to drive improvement and ensure control compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in GL/FR, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience with Oracle or ERP systems plus advanced Excel. CPA is a plus; CPA pursuit welcomed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience in GL and Financial Reporting.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and month-end close processes.
• Experience with Oracle or ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close with GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Review, approve, and post complex journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain General Ledger integrity and data accuracy.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and controls.
