Job summary

Edisons Group of Companies Inc. is seeking a Service Supervisor to lead and develop Service Technicians (Levels 1–3) in a fast-paced environment specializing in rice milling and grain drying equipment.

You will plan deployments, review field reports, and ensure safe, high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in technical service with at least 2 years in a supervisory role and hands-on experience with rice milling machinery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, electronics, agricultural engineering or related field; or completion of a relevant technical course with field experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in technical service, installation, or maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years in supervisory or team lead role in a technical service setting.
• Hands-on experience with rice milling and grain drying machinery is a strong advantage.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday.
• Work location: Lapasan, Cagayan De Oro City.
• Can start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Service Technicians (Levels 1 to 3) in daily tasks and professional development.
• Prepare, assign, and manage work schedules and service team deployments.
• Review technicians’ service reports, logs, and repair recommendations for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor team productivity, enforce discipline, and evaluate performance.
• Provide advanced-level technical support for installation, commissioning, repair, and calibration of rice milling and grain drying equipment.
• Ensure all service activities follow engineering protocols, machine specs, and safety standards.
• Oversee inspection and verification of machines stored in the warehouse for quality and readiness.
• Act as primary liaison for customer escalations and feedback related to equipment servicing.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support Service Technicians (Levels 1 to 3) in their day-to-day tasks and professional development.

• Prepare, assign, and manage work schedules and service team deployments to ensure efficient use of manpower.

• Review technicians’ service reports, logs, and repair recommendations for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

• Monitor team productivity, enforce discipline, and evaluate individual and group performance regularly.

• Provide advanced-level technical support for the installation, commissioning, repair, and calibration of rice milling and grain drying equipment (e.g., pre-cleaner, huller, whitener, color sorter, grain dryer, etc.).

• Ensure all service activities follow established engineering protocols, machine specifications, and safety standards.

• Oversee the inspection and verification of machines stored in the warehouse for quality and readiness.

• Act as the primary liaison for customer escalations, feedback, and concerns related to equipment servicing.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Agricultural Engineering, or a related technical/vocational field. Alternative:

• Completion of a relevant technical course with substantial field experience may be considered.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience a technical service, installation, or maintenance environment.

• Minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory or team lead role, preferably in a technical service, installation, or maintenance environment.

• Hands-on experience in rice milling and grain drying machinery is a strong advantage.

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday
