Job summary

Bayfield Equipment Corporation in the Philippines seeks a hands-on Field Service Technician to join our on-site team for heavy equipment and road machinery. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance, following industry standards.

The ideal candidate has a background in automotive technology or mechanical engineering, at least 2 years in heavy equipment service, and is willing to travel to Carmona, Cavite. You embrace safety, teamwork, and the use of diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in heavy equipment service or construction machinery.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical/electronic systems, and diesel engines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and service manuals.
• Willingness to travel and work in field assignments.
• Physically fit, safety-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Preferred: valid driver’s license.
• Willing to be assigned in Carmona, Cavite.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service, diagnose, and repair construction and road machinery.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and machine inspections.
• Diagnose and determine root causes of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues.
• Prepare and submit detailed service reports, including required parts and labor estimates.
• Assist with commissioning, installation, and start-up of new equipment.
• Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure timely access to necessary components.
• Support Service Engineers during field operations to troubleshoot with diagnostic instruments.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
• Participate in technical training programs to enhance product knowledge and service skills.
• Deliver reliable and efficient service to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Keep tools, diagnostic equipment, and company assets in proper working condition.
