Job summary

Bayfield Equipment Corporation in Carmona, Cavite seeks an experienced field service technician for construction machinery. You will perform on-site service, diagnose and repair equipment, and carry out preventive maintenance following industry standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Automotive Tech, Mechanical Eng, or related field.
• At least 2 years in heavy equipment service or construction machinery.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings and service manuals.
• Willing to travel and perform field assignments.
• Driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service, diagnose, and repairs for construction and road machinery.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and machine inspections per industry standards.
• Diagnose and determine root causes of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues.
• Prepare and submit detailed service reports with required parts and labor estimates.
• Assist with commissioning, installation, and start-up of new equipment.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to ensure timely access to components.
• Support Service Engineers during field operations to troubleshoot and calibrate machines with diagnostic instruments.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Participate in technical training programs to enhance product knowledge and service skills.
• Deliver reliable and efficient service to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Keep tools and diagnostic equipment in proper working condition.

I. Qualifications

• Graduate of Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or another related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in heavy equipment service or construction machinery.
• Knowledge in hydraulics, electrical/electronic systems, and diesel engines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and service manuals.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to travel and work in field assignments.
• Physically fit, safety-oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision.
• Holder of a valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Willing to be assigned in Carmona, Cavite.
