Job summary

Tavor Perry is seeking an experienced Shopify SEO Specialist to optimize our ecommerce site for search visibility, AI-driven search results, and conversion performance. You will handle product and category page optimization, technical SEO, and emerging AI search strategies across a 300+ SKU catalog.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Shopify SEO experience, keeps pace with current trends including AI answer engines like ChatGPT and Google AI, and can translate insights into scalable optimization

Qualifications

• Proven Shopify SEO experience for ecommerce sites.
• Strong technical SEO knowledge: site structure, crawlability, Core Web Vitals.
• Experience implementing Product/Review/FAQ schema markup.
• Familiar with AI search optimization (AEO) and AI-driven content.
• Ability to write and optimize product/category content.
• Well-organized, self-sufficient with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Rework product titles, descriptions, and page structure for better search performance.
• Turn product content into scannable sections with clear benefits, use cases, and FAQs.
• Resolve technical SEO issues, including duplicate URL problems between collections and products.
• Improve site structure, crawlability, and indexing setup, including sitemaps.
• Lift Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile performance.
• Add schema markup, including Product, Review, and FAQ schema.
• Tighten internal linking across products, categories, and content guides.
• Write keyword-targeted, SEO-rich content for category and collection pages.
• Structure pages for AI search visibility with clear definitions, FAQs, and comparison content.
• Build and deliver a scalable SEO roadmap across a large product catalog (300+ SKUs).
• Identify quick wins and high-impact optimization opportunities.
• Research and recommend commercial and long-tail keyword opportunities.
• Adapt content for conversational and AI-driven search queries.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience with Shopify SEO for ecommerce websites

• Knowledge of modern SEO practices, including AI search optimization (AEO)
• Experience writing and optimizing product and category page content
• Thorough, organized, and self-sufficient
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience optimizing large product catalogs (hundreds of SKUs)
• Background with D2C or B2B ecommerce brands
• Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles
• Experience structuring content for AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Google AI)
