The role demands hands-on Shopify SEO, up-to-date knowledge of search trends, and the ability to implement schema markup plus Core Web Vitals improvements.

Job Summary:

We're now hiring an experienced Shopify SEO Specialist to help optimize our ecommerce website for search visibility, AI-driven search results, and conversion performance. This role covers product and category page optimization, technical SEO, and emerging AI search optimization (AEO) across a large product catalog. The ideal candidate has hands-on Shopify SEO experience and stays current with modern search trends, including AI answer engines like ChatGPT and Google AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rewrite and optimize product titles, descriptions, and page structure for search performance
• Convert product content into scannable sections with clear benefits, use cases, and FAQs
• Fix technical SEO issues, including duplicate URL problems between collections and products
• Improve site structure, crawlability, and indexing setup, including sitemaps
• Improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile performance
• Implement schema markup, including Product, Review, and FAQ schema
• Strengthen internal linking across products, categories, and content guides
• Add keyword-targeted, SEO-rich content to category and collection pages
• Structure pages for AI search visibility, including clear definitions, FAQs, and comparison content
• Build and execute a scalable SEO roadmap across a large product catalog (300+ SKUs)
• Identify quick wins and high-impact optimization opportunities
• Research and recommend commercial and long-tail keyword opportunities
• Optimize content for conversational and AI-driven search queries

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience with Shopify SEO for ecommerce websites
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, including site structure, crawlability, and Core Web Vitals
• Experience implementing schema markup (Product, Review, FAQ)
• Knowledge of modern SEO practices, including AI search optimization (AEO)
• Experience writing and optimizing product and category page content
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience optimizing large product catalogs (hundreds of SKUs)
