Job summary

Datung in Metro Manila is seeking a Field Collection Officer to visit clients, recover payments, and represent the company in the communities we serve. You’ll work closely with our Collections and Risk teams to reduce delinquency and drive repayment behavior.

The Role: Field Collection Officer

You’ll be our frontliner in the field — visiting clients, recovering payments, and representing Datung in the communities we serve. You’ll work closely with our Collections and Risk team to reduce delinquency and drive repayment behavior.

What You’ll Own

• Conduct on-site visits to clients with missed or delayed payments


• Handle difficult or escalated collection cases with firmness and professionalism


• Deliver reminders, discuss repayment options, and collect payments as needed


• Report red flags, fraud suspicions, and behavioral risks to the risk team


• Collaborate with Collections and Field Ops to optimize repayment performance


• Ensure proper documentation of each client visit and follow-up action


• Be the \"boots on the ground\" that protect the integrity of our lending model

Requirements

• Proven experience in collections, especially with hard-to-reach or difficult clients


• Must own a motorcycle or car with a valid license and registration


• Familiarity with South NCR areas (Las Piñas, Parañaque, Muntinlupa, etc.)


• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills — firm, but respectful


• High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive client information

• Speak multiple dialects and are confident dealing with community-based borrowers
