Job summary

BruntWork is seeking an experienced Senior Xero Bookkeeper to support Canadian clients across restaurant, tech, and retail sectors. You will manage multi-file bookkeeping in Xero, handle GST/HST compliance, and ensure precise financial records while communicating professionally with Canadian clients.

The role supports remote work with standard Canadian business hours and requires strong accuracy, independence, and reliability in a home office setup.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Xero as primary platform for Canadian clients.
• Experience supporting Canadian GST/HST reporting and reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of Canadian bookkeeping principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Canadian client bookkeeping in Xero.
• Process bills through HubDoc and publish transactions to client files.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations with high accuracy.
• Record GST/HST transactions and assist with GST/HST reporting.
