Job summary

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority CARAGA Region is seeking a Training Officer to organize, deliver, and supervise competency-based learning programs across TVET. You will prepare session plans, materials, assessments and manage training facilities to ensure high-quality instruction.

Strong written and verbal communication, MS Office proficiency, and NTTC/training certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• (20%) Organizes training sessions by preparing session plan, instructional materials, training activity matrix, institutional assessment tools and other competency based learning materials and organizing training resources such as workshops, supplies and materials, equipment, tools and facilities.
• (15%) Delivers competency- based training by conducting pre-assessment of trainees, facilitating training session following the approved session plan and training activity matrix, monitoring trainee's progress, recording trainees performance, evaluating training sessions, observing safety precautions and managing facilities.
• (15%) Develops competency-based learning materials/devices by enhancing the CBLM, creating LMS contents, preparing slide presentations.
• (10%) Conducts competency assessment by administering tests and institutional assessments to trainees.
• (10%) Supervises the maintenance of training facilities to ensure equipment, facilities and tools are functional.
• (10%) Practices quality management by complying with operating standards and policies, monitoring quality standards.
• (10%) Utilizes ICT in facilitating learning using audio visual and multimedia equipment and PCs.
• (5%) Undertakes research by identifying research agenda and gathering TVET information and trends.
• (5%) Performs other related tasks as assigned.
