Job summary

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority CARAGA Region - Government is seeking a training specialist to organize and deliver competency-based learning programs across TVET activities. You will develop and update learning materials, conduct assessments, supervise facilities, and apply quality management while using ICT tools to enhance instruction.

Collaboration with trainees and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Preferably with NTTC.
• Certificate in Trainers Methodology I.
• Good oral and written communications/technical writing.
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Good interpersonal relationships and work attitude.
• Good moral character and work ethics.
• Can work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Organises training sessions by preparing session plan, instructional materials, training activity matrix, assessment tools and resources.
• Delivers competency-based training following approved session plan; monitors progress and administers assessments.
• Develops learning materials and updates LMS contents to improve instruction quality.
• Conducts competency assessments and records results.
• Supervises maintenance of training facilities and equipment functionality.
• Implements quality management by adhering to standards and procedures.
• Utilises ICT to facilitate learning with audio-visual/multimedia tools.
• Undertakes research to update TVET information and learning materials.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
