Job summary

Technical Education and Skills Development Authority CARAGA Region - Government seeks a dedicated training specialist to deliver competency-based sessions, assess learners, and guide career guidance. The role involves developing LMS content, maintaining facilities, and applying ICT tools to enhance instruction.

The ideal candidate will have NTTC/Trainers Methodology I and strong communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and collaborate with teams.

Qualifications

• Preferably with National TVET Training Certificate (NTTC).
• With Certificate in Trainers Methodology I.
• Good in oral and written communications/Technical Writing.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Applications.
• Good inter-personal relationships and work attitude.
• Good moral character and work ethics.
• Can work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Delivers competency-based training by preparing training sessions.
• Conducts pre-assessment of trainees.
• Facilitates training sessions.
• Conducts competency assessment.
• Reviews delivery of training session.
• Observes safety precautions following occupational safety and health standards.
• Conducts career counseling session.
• Plans and organizes work.
• Leads learning workplace communication.
• Solves training elated problems.
• Develops competency-based learning materials/devices by enhancing the CBLM, creating and updating LMS contents/preparing slide presentations to continuously improve the quality of instruction.
• Conducts competency assessment by administering tests, quizzes, institutional assessment to trainees.
• Supervises the maintenance of training facilities by checking activities against maintenance plan.
• Practices quality management by complying with standards, policies and procedures.
• Utilizes ICT in facilitating learning using audio visual and multi-media equipment.
• Performs other related functions.
