Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Senior Data Analyst/Technology Risk Consultant to design and analyze risk metrics across business, technology, and cybersecurity domains. You will translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership and risk committees.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, experience in KRIs/KPIs, and the ability to mentor team members while partnering with Cybersecurity and Technology teams. Hybrid work and potential night shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree holders with relevant work experience are welcome to apply.
• 5-7 years experience in analytics, risk management, cybersecurity, or technology governance.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets and identifying trends, patterns, and emerging risks.
• Hybrid Work Arrangement: Amenability to work onsite and from home anytime depending on business need.
• Shift Schedule: Amenability to work on mid shift or night shift depending on business need.
• Proven ability to translate technical data into clear, business focused insights.
• Strong understanding of risk metrics (KRIs, KCIs, KPIs) with leading and lagging indicators.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trends across KRIs, KCIs, and KPIs to identify emerging risks and control weaknesses.
• Provide analytical input to enhance metric design, including leading indicators, thresholds, and signal quality.
• Develop executive level insights and narratives for risk committees and senior leadership.
• Partner with Cybersecurity and Technology teams to improve interpretation of metric results.
• Support thematic reviews and challenge metrics that do not provide meaningful risk insight.
• Contribute to the evolution of the technology risk metrics framework and reporting approach.
• Analyze breach trends and systemic risk patterns to inform leadership decisions.
