Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Technology Risk Consultant to design and interpret risk metrics, driving insights for strategic decisions. You will collaborate with Cybersecurity and Technology teams to enhance metric quality, prepare executive narratives, and support risk committees.

The role requires 5–7 years in analytics/risk management and a hybrid work arrangement, onsite and from home as needed. You will mentor teammates and shape risk reporting practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• 5–7 years’ experience in analytics, risk management, cybersecurity, or technology governance.
• Strong ability to interpret complex data and identify trends across metrics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trends across KRIs, KCIs, and KPIs to identify risks and weaknesses.
• Provide analytical input to enhance metric design, thresholds, and signal quality.
• Develop executive-level insights and narratives for risk committees and leadership.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Technology teams to improve metric interpretation.
• Support reviews and challenge metrics that lack meaningful risk insight.
• Contribute to evolving the technology risk metrics framework and reporting.
• Analyze breach trends to inform leadership decisions.
