Job summary

Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to own the technical backbone of core business systems, starting with NetSuite. You will bridge engineering depth with business needs, ensuring reliable and scalable solutions while keeping day-to-day systems running for users.

Qualifications

Job description

As our Senior Systems Engineer, you will take ownership of the technical backbone behind our core business systems, starting with NetSuite. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and business - translating operational needs into reliable, scalable technical solutions while keeping day-to-day systems running smoothly for users across the business.

As the business systems footprint grows beyond NetSuite, the role is expected to grow with it, taking on new platforms and technologies over time. It is a strong fit for someone who enjoys both the technical depth of platform engineering and the collaborative, cross-functional side of working closely with the business.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer I and II certifications.
• Prior experience with ERP implementation and support.
• Knowledge and experience in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Knowledge and experience in cloud and web application development.
• Prior experience with integration projects connecting different applications, particularly via web services.
• Ability to translate a functional document/requirement into a technical design (TRD).
• Ability to gather requirements and write an FRD (advantageous).
• Ability to work across both technical and functional consultancy (advantageous).
• Experience with different project methodologies (e.g., Waterfall and Agile).
• Experience working with modern IDEs such as VS Code, and code repositories/version control such as GitHub.
• Experience with Atlassian tools - Jira, JSM, JPD, Confluence, Zephyr.
