Job summary

RELX International seeks an experienced systems engineer to lead and support enterprise infrastructure across Windows servers, AD/Identity, and cloud services. You will drive incident response, automation, and cross‑functional collaboration with development and vendor teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree holder.
• 5–7 years of systems or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience in a technical leadership or SME capacity is desirable.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows systems and infrastructure (Windows servers, AD, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with enterprise identity platforms (Entra ID/Active Directory) and public cloud (AWS and/or Azure).
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
• Experience managing third‑party/SaaS services (Saviynt, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude AI).
• Knowledge of incident management, service request fulfillment, change requests, and major incident management.
• System installation and troubleshooting experience.
• Advanced understanding of system and problem management tools.
• Automation scripting knowledge.
• Knowledge of virtual server environments and thin clients.
• Knowledge of system recovery procedures.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of major system components (Windows, AD, DNS, DHCP, 365, AWS/Azure).
• Lead a team of technical resources on initiatives, projects, and operations.
• Diagnose problems with applications and systems.
• Configure controls; install or troubleshoot systems in multiple environments.
• Provide prompt recovery and escalation using management tools.
• Coordinate with development, support, and vendors to meet deadlines.
• Assist daily support and detect changes in system responses.
• Refine monitoring and reporting with support groups.
• Apply problem‑solving in multiple operating environments.
• Diagnose system performance problems.
• Perform online system functions for routine tasks.
• Develop lists/scripts for common processes and automation.
• Manage incident response and major incidents.
• Ensure proper execution of changes and service requests.
• Document and close tasks, changes, and requests.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and after‑hours support.
