Job summary

Prima Solution Development and Construction Crop is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Quezon City to lead structural analysis, design, and review across reinforced concrete and steel projects. You will guide junior engineers and coordinate with architects and other disciplines.

Based in Metro Manila, this full-time role offers a clear pathway to senior leadership, site visits when required, and hands-on involvement in code-compliant, constructible designs with a strong emphasis on quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required and licensed professional engineer preferred.
• 2-4 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel design.
• Proficient in STAAD.Pro and ETABS; AutoCAD proficiency.
• Ability to interpret drawings and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundations, and other structural systems.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, analysis models, technical reports, and design drawings.
• Conduct structural investigation, assessment, and retrofit/strengthening design when required.
• Review calculations, drawings, and engineering outputs prepared by Junior Structural Engineers and CAD personnel.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, CAD personnel, QS Engineers, Project Engineers, surveyors, and construction teams.
• Provide technical solutions for design and construction-related structural concerns.
• Conduct site inspections, structural assessments, and technical meetings when required.
• Guide and mentor Junior Structural Engineers in analysis, design, documentation, and engineering practices.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to handle the structural analysis, design, assessment, and review of engineering projects involving reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundations, buildings, and telecommunications structures.

The position will also provide technical guidance to Junior Structural Engineers and CAD personnel and coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project teams to ensure accurate, safe, code-compliant, and constructible designs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundations, and other structural systems.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, analysis models, technical reports, and design drawings.
• Conduct structural investigation, assessment, and retrofit/strengthening design when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Civil Engineer preferred.
• Preferably with 2-4 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Experience in structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete and structural steel structures.
• Proficient in STAAD.Pro and/or ETABS.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of NSCP, ACI, AISC, and other applicable structural codes and standards.
• Experience in structural assessment, retrofitting, foundations, buildings, steel structures, and/or telecommunications structures is an advantage.
• Able to interpret architectural, structural, and construction drawings.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, technical writing, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently while coordinating effectively with the engineering team.
• Willing to conduct site visits and field inspections when required.

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: ₱25,000 - ₱30,000, depending on experience and technical competency
