Job summary

BG&E in Manila, Philippines, is seeking a Graduate or Structural Engineer to begin a career in building design. You will work on reinforced concrete and structural steel projects, develop models, and gain hands-on experience in analysis, modelling, design, and documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.

You will receive mentoring, contribute to commercial, residential, healthcare and educational projects, and learn industry-standard software while developing solutions and coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent from a recognised university.
• PRC Civil Engineer License is required.
• Graduate Engineer or up to 2 years of structural engineering experience.
• Strong interest in structural engineering and building design.
• Exposure to reinforced concrete and/or structural steel design through university or professional experience.
• Familiarity with ETABS or similar structural analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete and structural steel building structures.
• Develop and review structural models using industry-standard software.
• Support lateral stability analysis and design for wind and seismic loading.
• Assist in the design of reinforced and post-tensioned concrete floor systems.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and design documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, drafters, architects, and other disciplines.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
• Develop practical engineering solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.

We are looking for a Graduate or Structural Engineer who is passionate about building design and eager to develop their technical skills in a professional consulting environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in structural analysis, modelling, design, and documentation while working alongside experienced engineers on a diverse range of projects.

What You'll Do
