Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking a timing signoff expert for a customer-facing role based in Bangalore. You will work with leading semiconductor customers, using PrimeTime to resolve timing closure challenges on 5nm and below designs, while collaborating with R&D and product teams to improve signoff methodology.

The position requires deep timing knowledge, strong scripting skills in Tcl, Python and Perl, and excellent communication to guide customers through complex issues and adoption of new flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electronics & Communication Engineering required; Master's in VLSI/Embedded/Communication Systems preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Synopsys PrimeTime for static timing analysis and signoff.
• Proficiency in Tcl scripting for tool automation; Python/Perl considered a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leading semiconductor customers to address timing closure and signoff on advanced node designs.
• Debug timing issues including setup/hold violations, clock domain crossings, and variation-related signoff problems.
• Develop reference flows and automation scripts; deliver training and live demos to customers.
• Drive adoption of PrimeTime features and contribute to methodology improvements with R&D and product teams.
