Job summary

Okada Manila is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage complex LAN/WAN and cloud-based networks. You will lead network projects, enforce security policies, and collaborate with cybersecurity experts and developers to ensure reliable, scalable network infrastructure.

The role requires 5–7 years of network administration experience, strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP and OSPF, and hands-on experience with Cisco and Palo Alto devices.

Qualifications

• Network Design & Implementation: Develop and implement network designs, including local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and cloud-based networks, to support organizational needs.
• Network Management: Oversee the configuration, installation, and maintenance of network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance, conduct regular health checks, and implement improvements to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Security Management: Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures, including intrusion detection, prevention systems, and secure network access controls.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide advanced technical support for network issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve complex network problems efficiently.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and changes; prepare and present reports on network performance, issues, and improvements.
• Project Leadership: Lead network-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and scope.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT professionals, including system administrators, cybersecurity experts, and application developers, to ensure seamless integration and operation of network systems.

II. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+) are highly desirable.

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum of [5-7] years of experience in network administration, with a strong background in network design, implementation, and management.
