Sagility Philippines B.V. Branch Office – BGSI Division is seeking a Senior Specialist-Desktop Support to lead the IT desktop support function in Manila. The role covers network engineering, systems administration, and incident management across Mac, Linux, and Windows platforms.

You will drive improvements in software, systems, and IT policy, while managing day-to-day department activities and coordinating with vendors and clients to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer applications, BE/B.Tech or any graduate.
• 4+ years in IT management with 1–2 years in a team lead/managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of network architecture and client/server, IT incident and problem management.

Responsabilités

• Perform network engineering and troubleshooting across software/hardware environments.
• Monitor and improve data security and IT operations.
• Lead IT projects, upgrades, migrations, and outages with timelines.
• Develop IT policies and best-practice guides for the organization.
• Design and deliver staff training programs on IT tools and processes.
• Run regular system audits and generate operation reports.

Job Description:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer application, BE / B. Tech, Any Graduate.

Experience

4+ Years experience in IT Management with at least 1-2 years’ experience as a team leader or in an IT department managerial role.

Preferred Skills

• Comprehensive Understanding of Network architecture and Client/ server
• Extensive experience in the delivery of IT incident and problem management
• Experience with Mac, Linux and Windows platforms
• Cloud and VDI Infra

Roles & responsibilities

• Regular activities include network engineering and troubleshooting application, data cabling, systems administration in a variety of software and hardware environments, root cause analysis in problem solving, and assistance in managing the daily activities of the department.
• Running regular checks on network and data security
• Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
• Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation
• Designing training programs and workshops for staff
• Conducting regular system audits
• Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
• Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
• Providing direction for IT team members
• Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancements
• Ensure IC SAT, ESAT scores are maintained
• Handling Client and Vendor Management
