The People Operations Governance & Compliance Manager serves as a centralized governance, compliance operations, and program management resource supporting global People Operations compliance initiatives. This role is responsible for translating regulatory and policy requirements into scalable operational practices, driving compliance program execution, coordinating audit and remediation activities, developing governance processes, overseeing compliance issue management, and enabling an audit-ready compliance environment across the organization
The position acts as a key liaison between People Operations, Legal, Operational Excellence, Internal Audit, business stakeholders, and external providers to ensure compliance risks are identified, assessed, communicated, and remediated effectively. The role combines governance, program management, operational execution, assurance support, and reporting responsibilities to drive compliance maturity and operational excellence.
This individual must possess strong critical thinking skills and the ability to evaluate complex regulatory requirements, assess organizational impacts, and develop practical, scalable solutions.
