Job summary

Workstream seeks a Solutions Software Engineer in Professional Services to design, develop, and deliver complex integrations between our platform and enterprise HR/payroll systems.

You will lead architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and push AI-native practices across the team, partnering with clients to translate requirements into production-ready software with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack or backend depth.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/SE or related field.
• Strong Python/TypeScript or JavaScript skills and REST API design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Demonstrated AI-native development practices using LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build robust API integrations between our platform and client HR/payroll/POS systems.
• Lead integration architecture decisions and mentor junior engineers.
• Translate business requirements into production-grade software with measurable impact.
• Develop data migration pipelines and two-way payroll integrations.
• Build internal tooling, dashboards, and AI-assisted automation for customers.
