Job summary

KY GREEN BUILDERS INC. seeks a dedicated PV Site Engineer to supervise on-site construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of commercial and industrial solar PV projects in the Philippines.

Role requires strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical installation, site supervision, and construction coordination. Experience with ground-mounted systems and BESS is a plus. Willing to travel and work on-site.

Qualifications

Graduate of Electrical Engineering or related engineering course.
Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is preferred.
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in solar PV construction or electrical site engineering.
Experience in commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects is preferred.
Experience with Ground-mounted solar systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Knowledgeable in Electrical installation, Solar PV systems, Cable management systems, Testing and commissioning procedures.
Able to read and interpret SLDs, electrical drawings, layout plans, and technical specifications.
Familiarity with Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and safety standards.
Proficient in MS Office and basic AutoCAD usage.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
Willing to work on-site and travel to project locations.

Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day site activities related to solar PV system installation and construction.
Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Coordinate with subcontractors, electricians, suppliers, and construction personnel.
Ensure all site activities comply with safety policies and industry standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and verify workmanship.
Assist in testing, commissioning, energization, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems.
Coordinate technical issues with engineering and project management teams.
Ensure proper installation practices for rooftop and ground-mounted systems.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Attend project meetings and coordinate with clients and contractors.
