Job summary

KHDGG Development Corporation in the Philippines seeks an Electrical/ renewable energy engineer to evaluate and optimize PV and battery storage systems for project sites. The role involves designing electrical diagrams, conducting site assessments, and collaborating with engineers and suppliers.

The candidate should have 3+ years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of electrical systems, and proficiency with PV and BESS design tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Systems) with emphasis on power/renewable energy.
• At least 3 years of experience in related field.
• Proficiency in English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Familiarity with solar and BESS design software tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design, and optimize PV systems for potential site locations using design software.
• Evaluate, design, and optimize battery energy storage systems using standard tools.
• Produce solar and BESS design drawings including single- and three-line diagrams.
• Review bidding electrical technical schemes and assist in bidding documents.
• Maintain relations with owners, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Develop designs using PVsyst, Sunny Design, Helioscope, ETAP, MATLAB, Homer, AutoCAD.
• Perform site inspections and prepare reports.
• Develop specifications for solar and battery equipment.
• Perform calculations to demonstrate system sizing and performance.
• Review RFP documents and project specs.
• Stay updated on industry standards for Solar and BESS.
