Job summary

Union Prime Energy Corporation in Taguig is seeking an on-site Electrical Engineer specializing in Solar PV and energy storage to lead the design and delivery of PV and BESS projects in the Philippines. You will spearhead technical design, oversee site execution, and ensure compliance with local codes.

The role requires hands-on experience with PVsyst and AutoCAD, plus the ability to read electrical drawings and supervise installation on-site.

Qualifications

BS Electrical Engineering degree required.
PRC Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE/RME) is a plus.
Hands-on experience with solar PV and BESS projects.

Responsibilities

Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for rooftop and ground-mounted PV installations.
Design systems using PVsyst and AutoCAD, including string sizing and single-line diagrams.
Specify PV modules, inverters, batteries, and balance-of-system components.
Supervise installation, testing and commissioning on project sites; ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.
Monitor plant performance, diagnose faults and prepare O&M reports.
