ABIC Manpower Service Corp. is seeking an experienced Licensed Electrical Engineer to support solar PV and renewable energy projects in the Philippines. The role covers electrical engineering, site coordination, installation supervision, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and documentation.

The successful candidate will travel to project sites nationwide, work on-site and in offices, and coordinate with project managers, contractors, and authorities to ensure project success.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Candidates must be a PRC-licensed Registered Electrical Engineer.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in electrical engineering projects recommended.
• Hands-on experience with Solar PV or other renewable energy projects preferred.
• Knowledge of LV/MV systems, switchgear, transformers, and wiring.

Responsabilidades

• Review electrical drawings, specs, and single-line diagrams for projects.
• Supervise electrical installation works at project sites across the Philippines.
• Provide technical support for Solar PV and renewable energy projects.
• Inspect equipment, cables, panels, inverters, and transformers for quality and safety.
• Coordinate with contractors, utilities, and project stakeholders to ensure progress.
• Prepare site inspection and progress reports, testing records, and punch lists.
• Support handover, testing, commissioning, and final acceptance.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Licensed Electrical Engineer to support our solar photovoltaic (PV) and other renewable energy projects in the Philippines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical engineering, site coordination, installation supervision, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical documentation for renewable energy and power-related projects.

• Location: Philippines
• Work Condition: Office and Prioject Site-Based
• Work Location: Must be willing to travel and be assigned in projects site within and outsite Metro Manila

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) licensed by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Philippines.
• Preferably with 3–5 years of relevant working experience (Supervisory level) in electrical engineering projects.
• Must have hands‑on experience in Solar PV projects and/or other renewable energy or power projects.
• Experience in electrical installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project site supervision is highly preferred.
• Familiar with LV/MV electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, inverters, protection systems, grounding systems, cabling, and electrical distribution systems.
• Knowledge of electrical drawings, single‑line diagrams, technical specifications, BOQ, and project documentation.
• Familiarity with Philippine electrical standards, codes, and relevant regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Strong coordination and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to coordinate with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and government or utility representatives when required.
• Must be willing and physically able to travel frequently and work at project sites outside Metro Manila and in different provinces nationwide.
• Willing to stay temporarily at provincial project sites when required by the project schedule.
• Valid driver's license is an advantage.
• Candidates with experience in any of the following will be given priority:

• Ground-Mounted Solar Projects
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Power Distribution Systems
• Substations

Key Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, specifications, single‑line diagrams, and project technical requirements.
• Supervise and monitor electrical installation works at project sites.
• Provide technical support for Solar PV and renewable energy projects.
• Inspect electrical equipment, materials, cabling, panels, inverters, transformers, and other electrical components.
• Ensure electrical works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, applicable electrical codes, and project safety requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors regarding installation progress and technical issues.
• Conduct or supervise electrical testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare site inspection reports, progress reports, testing records, punch lists, and other technical documentation.
• Assist in resolving electrical engineering issues encountered during project implementation.
• Coordinate with relevant utilities, authorities, consultants, and project stakeholders when necessary.
• Support project handover, testing, commissioning, and final acceptance.
