Union Prime Energy Corporation in Taguig is seeking an on-site Electrical Engineer specializing in Solar PV and energy storage to lead the design and delivery of PV and BESS projects in the Philippines. You will spearhead technical design, oversee site execution, and ensure compliance with local codes.

The role requires hands-on experience with PVsyst and AutoCAD, plus the ability to read electrical drawings and supervise installation on-site.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering degree required.
• PRC Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE/RME) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with solar PV and BESS projects.

Responsabilités

• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for rooftop and ground-mounted PV installations.
• Design systems using PVsyst and AutoCAD, including string sizing and single-line diagrams.
• Specify PV modules, inverters, batteries, and balance-of-system components.

Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for a hands‑on Solar PV Engineer to take charge of the technical design and on‑site delivery of our solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage projects in the Philippines.

Key Duties:

• Perform site surveys and feasibility studies for rooftop and ground‑mount solar PV installations.
• Produce system designs in PVsyst and AutoCAD, including string sizing, single‑line diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Select and specify PV modules, inverters, batteries and balance‑of‑system components.
• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning on project sites; ensure work meets code and safety standards.
• Monitor plant performance, diagnose faults and prepare O&M reports; support the permits/engineering team as needed.

Who We Are Looking For:

• BS Electrical Engineering graduate; PRC Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE/RME) is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with solar PV / BESS design, installation or maintenance.
• Working knowledge of PVsyst and AutoCAD; able to read and produce electrical drawings.
• Willing to travel and stay on‑site during project implementation (company‑provided accommodation).
• Good written and spoken English; team player with a strong safety mindset.

Compensation: PHP 25,000 - 70,000 monthly, negotiable depending on experience and license.
