Job summary

G R Infraprojects Limited is seeking a project engineer to oversee and coordinate civil/ mechanical/ electrical works on a road construction site. You will supervise subcontractors, read drawings, and ensure tasks align with quality standards and timelines.

Candidates with 1-3 years (Diploma) or 1-2 years (BE/B.Tech) or 1+ year (M.Tech) of relevant experience, and exposure to 5-10 km road projects, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical with 1-3 years experience.
BE/B.Tech with 1-2 years experience.
M.Tech with min. 1 year experience.
Experience in handling activities across 5-10 km on a road construction project.

Responsibilities

Manage project staff according to established policies and practices.
Guide supervisors/subcontractors on activities like reading drawings, excavation, layering, installing utilities.
Assign and examine tasks of subordinate team and technical staff.
Apprise GRIL seniors of project progress and request inputs to ensure smooth execution.
Review site progress regularly and identify deviations from schedule.
Review site schedule with authorities and management via daily progress reports and RFIs.
Ensure site deliverables are on time and meet quality standards.
Maintain project information via reporting mechanisms such as the DPR.
