Responsibilities

• Project planning and performance: ensure daily activity schedule adherence and align with Section In-charge for timely completion.
• Project delivery: review progress, raise RFIs, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client/government requirements.
• MIS and reporting: document project information and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• People management: address employee grievances appropriately.

Job description

• The incumbent of this role is accountable for the completion of the assigned stretch of the section of project.
• The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth execution of the allotted Project within timelines and quality through prioritisation of the activities to ensure efficient utilisation of people, material and machinery and coordinating with Section In-charge.
• The incumbent is also responsible for resolving operational issues to ensure minimal impact on the project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Performance –Ensure adherence of activity schedule on daily basis for successful completion of the section of project. Work according to the established policies and procedures. Align & work with Section In-charge for day-to-day activities to ensure timely completion of all the activities within defined quality standards. Assign and inspect the tasks of the subordinate technical staff. Apprise the GRIL seniors of the project progress and request for support/necessary inputs to ensure smooth project execution.
• Project Delivery -Frequent review of progress and identify underlying deviations from activity schedule. Review the section schedule with the concerned authorities and the senior management through daily progress report and collect accurate data for raising an RFI. Ensure that all deliverables are on time and at the required level of quality. Review with In-charge / Section In-charge and look for the most appropriate solutions to the prevailing concerns as per the project cycle. Ensure compliance with quality standards set by the client and government.
• MIS and Reporting – Ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured through the DPR and other reporting mechanisms. Resolve any issues related to specific project and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• People Management – Ensure that all employee grievances are handled in an appropriate manner.

Indicative Experience and Exposure

• Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical with 3-7 years experience or
• BE/B.Tech with 2-5 years experience or
• M.Tech with 2-4 years experience
• Experience in handling work with scope across 2-5 km in a road construction project
