Job summary

Thumbtack is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Service Operations PMO. You will plan, execute, and oversee programs that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in program or project management, familiarity with Jira, Coda, Smartsheet, and Agile/Waterfall methods, and strong communication and risk-management skills. Graveyard shift availability is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Proficient with Jira, Coda and Smartsheet; familiar with Agile and Waterfall.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• PMP certification preferred; graveyard shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement structured program plans with timelines and resources.
• Identify dependencies and coordinate with teams to resolve them.
• Lead regular program meetings to monitor progress and drive decisions.
• Maintain comprehensive program documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align objectives.
• Monitor risks and develop contingency plans.
• Support process/tool improvements within the team.
• Build expertise quickly in program assignments.
