Allegro MicroSystems in Metro Manila seeks an experienced Process Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing methods for semiconductor parts and assemblies. You will coordinate with package design and manage trials from pilot to full production, while mentoring engineers and maintaining robust documentation.

The role requires strong knowledge of semiconductor processes, DOE, statistics, and reporting, with a focus on continuous improvement and tooling optimization.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical / Electronics and Communication / Mechanical / Materials / Metallurgical / Chemical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering.
• At least 8 years experience as Process Engineer or 3 years experience in the same capacity in a semicon setting.
• Knowledge of key semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in electronic, chemical, mechanical, electro-mechanical theories.
• Knowledgeable and capable of teaching core tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP).
• Literate in use of computer and office software.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of Design of Experiments
• Can generate technical reports and define manufacturing specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement methods, operation sequences and processes for manufacture and assembly.
• Interface with package design engineering for new product releases.
• Lead pilot runs to mass production transitions and recommend tooling and process improvements.
• Maintain records and reporting systems for manufacturing operations.
• Mentor and supervise engineers and technicians in related teams on process development and QA tools.
• Prepare weekly/monthly project highlights and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
