Job summary

Fulcrum Digital is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design and implement automation for agentic AI workflows, APIs, and UI. This hands-on role combines strong testing discipline with software engineering fundamentals to ensure production-grade quality across distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Strong automation engineering background with hands-on framework design and coding.
• Experience testing modern distributed systems, APIs, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI automation and end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of LLM evaluation, prompt/workflow validation, and agent guardrail testing.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Familiarity with observability, test data management, and performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality engineering for agentic applications, intelligent workflows, APIs, UI, and platform services.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, regression, and system-level testing.
• Define test strategies for AI and agent-based systems, including workflow validation and reliability checks.
• Build automated quality gates for CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-confidence releases.
• Partner with engineers, product managers, architects, and data/AI teams to bake quality in from design to production.
• Mentor team members on automation and quality best practices.
