Job summary

Ascensus seeks an QA Automation Engineer/SDET to lead automation-first testing for enterprise CRM/workflow apps. You will build and maintain Playwright-driven tests, triage failures, and work with developers and Scrum teams in a fast-moving Agile environment.

You will contribute to modernizing automation practices, leverage AI tools like Cursor and Copilot, and ensure high release quality while handling ambiguous environments and data dependencies.

Qualifications

• Must have QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on with Playwright or comparable framework.
• Able to triage automation failures and differentiate defects from script issues.
• Experience collaborating with developers and product teams to define testable requirements.
• Experience testing enterprise workflow apps like CRM, ERP, onboarding, or sales.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and debug automated tests using Playwright or similar frameworks.
• Create and execute test scenarios from user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineers and QA team members to define an automation-first strategy.
• Review stories for testability and identify coverage gaps and edge cases.
• Triage failed tests by analyzing logs, selectors, data, and environment behavior.
