Job summary

CIMET Group is seeking a Senior Manager - Risk & Compliance to lead the compliance function and act as deputy to the General Manager. You will manage compliance managers and analysts, drive risk assessment, and ensure readiness for audits, regulatory reviews, and partner evaluations in a high-growth international environment.

The role requires 8–12 years of experience, strong stakeholder influence, and the ability to shape controls, monitoring programs, and evidence standards while collaborating

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in Compliance, Risk, Governance, Audit, or related disciplines.
• Experience in regulated consumer-facing industries or similar sectors.
• Proven experience leading teams and ensuring quality of compliance outputs.
• Experience developing or managing compliance controls and monitoring programs.

Responsibilities

• Act as deputy to the General Manager - Compliance and provide leadership continuity across the function
• Lead compliance managers and analysts, supporting capability development and performance
• Own assigned compliance portfolios, including controls, registers, monitoring activities, and evidence management
• Support compliance risk assessments and convert identified risks into practical monitoring and assurance plans
• Challenge business decisions where controls, evidence, or compliance standards are inadequate
• Manage incidents, complaints, breaches, and remediation activities
• Partner with Operations, Sales, Partnerships, Product, Technology, and Customer Service teams
• Represent CIMET with Australian stakeholders, partners, and compliance teams
