Global A.C. Cosmetics Trading Corp. is seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to lead and strengthen our compliance program in the Philippines.

You will design, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure adherence to laws and regulations. The role requires monitoring regulatory changes, conducting risk assessments, and guiding executive leadership on compliance matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related field (JD or advanced degree a plus).
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, FINRA, HIPAA, GDPR, AML/BSA, SOX, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the organization's compliance program.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and assess their impact on business operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits; identify gaps and drive remediation plans.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to senior leadership on regulatory matters.
  • Investigate compliance issues, complaints, or potential violations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports, metrics, and updates to executive leadership and the Board.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors during examinations or inquiries.
  • Maintain and update the compliance policy manual and ensure organization-wide adherence.
  • Partner with Legal, Risk, HR, and business units to embed compliance into day-to-day operations.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to lead and strengthen our organization's compliance program. This role is responsible for ensuring the company operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations while proactively identifying and mitigating regulatory risk. The ideal candidate brings deep regulatory expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency with compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional certification such as CCEP, CRCM, CAMS, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Experience managing or mentoring compliance staff (preferred)
