Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer / SDET with 5+ years of software testing to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.

You will implement UI tests with Playwright or Selenium, build REST API automation with Karate or ReadyAPI, validate data with SQL, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. Join an Agile team delivering high-quality software across releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Strong experience with Karate and/or ReadyAPI for REST API automation.
• Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of API testing and validation.
• Proficiency with TestNG and/or JUnit.
• Experience with Maven and Git.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps.
• Strong SQL skills and backend/database validation.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.
• Develop and execute automated UI tests using Playwright or Selenium.
• Build and maintain REST API automation and validation using Karate or ReadyAPI.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to identify and resolve defects.
• Analyze test failures, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvements.
