Job summary

Northern Trust Corp is seeking a Sr Specialist, Proposals Writer in Manila to contribute to RFP responses, develop content for DDQs, and collaborate with regional marketing teams on promotional materials.

The role focuses on content quality, process improvement, and timely delivery of proposals, with responsibilities spanning from content identification to post-implementation reporting and training.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in financial services, marketing, project management, writing or related work experience.
• 3-4 years in a senior or specialist role.
• Project management or digital marketing experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the development of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and contributes to complex sections.
• Identifies new and amended content for the RFP database and removes expired content.
• Provides answers from the RFP database and SMEs to RFP teams and Relationship Managers.
• Collaborates with regional marketing specialists to develop and edit promotional materials for business initiatives.
• Develops campaigns in a marketing automation tool for monthly newsletters and other communications.
• Maintains marketing presentations and contact databases, ensuring content is up to date.
• Allocates tasks to junior team members and ensures timely delivery.
• Communicates with home location to provide status updates and escalate issues.
• Leads root cause analyses to address issues and prevent recurrence.
• Reports on workload, KPIs, RCA, and initiatives to stakeholders monthly.
• Maintains DPADs and updates procedures when processes change.
• Supports management in strategic initiatives and achieving business goals.
• Delivers training and provides feedback on training effectiveness.
• Identifies opportunities to reduce cost and FTE to meet productivity targets.
