Job summary

Marsh in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to join our team. This hybrid role requires three days in the office weekly. You will coordinate responses to RFPs, craft value-focused proposals, and ensure timely delivery.

You will lead the proposal development process, mentor junior colleagues, and work closely with client managers to shape winning strategies. A bachelor's degree and 5–8 years in proposal writing or bid management are expected.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, journalism, marketing, English, or other relevant specialty.
• 5-8 years of overall work experience with prior proposal writing and/or bid management experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills including facilitation, writing, and editing.

Responsibilities

• Write persuasive proposal/presentation content and executive summaries that are geared towards readers' needs and level of knowledge and that follows company best practice approach.
• Review RFPs for complete understanding of proposal submission requirements
• Facilitate opportunity strategy formulation, working closely with Client Managers/consulting team to help identify client/prospect business-drivers, and create the optimal proposal communication strategy, corresponding theme and graphic approach.
• Use company tools to perform client research.
• Manage the proposal/presentation development process, assuming total responsibility for management of the proposal/presentation development process for projects including document formatting and design to ensure Brand compliance.
• Additionally review proposals written by the proposal team members and provide mentoring and guidance to them.

We are seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Senior Proposal Specialist, you will handle responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) by coordinating teams, challenging them to effectively create value for the client/prospect, writing/editing proposals, and ensuring that the team meets deadlines. The IMPACT process focuses on creating value propositions by questioning, researching, communicating, and translating client needs to Marsh solutions.
