About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer for our ISO-certified, Triple-A (AAA) large-scale construction company recognized for delivering landmark infrastructure across the company. The role will be based in the Head Office for horizontal construction projects (roads, bridges, land development, and utilities). In this role, you will bridge the gap between project oversight and field execution. You will directly manage a team of junior engineers, quantity surveyors, and QA/QC specialists, overseeing progress billing, cost estimation, site coordination, and quality control to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and up to industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Commercial Management: Manage bidding processes, progress billings, variation orders, and financial metrics against baseline project budgets

• Project Controls: Monitor PERT/CPM schedules, project milestones, and field accomplishments to resolve bottlenecks; identify potential project risks and prepare mitigation plans

• Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships, alignment, and approvals among government agencies, private clients, and technical teams

• Team Leadership: Lead a multidisciplinary engineering, quantity surveying, and coordination team

• Quality & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to engineering standards, project specifications, and ISO-certified quality management systems

Job Quaifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; PRC Civil Engineer License required

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in horizontal construction (earthworks, roads, drainage, infrastructure)

• Proficient in AutoCAD and advanced MS Excel, with strong knowledge of engineering software

• Outstanding leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional communication skills

• Strong analytical acumen in budgeting and cost control
