Job summary

Firefly Electric and Lighting Corporation in Calumpit, Bulacan is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to oversee injection molding efficiency, solve technical issues, optimize machine performance, and train the engineering team to meet production goals.

You will lead process improvements, monitor OEE, analyze downtime, and drive training with a clear focus on quality, yield, and productivity enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in the Injection Molding Production Process.
• Proficiency in using injection molding machinery, monitoring productivity tools, and technical troubleshooting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Optimize injection molding processes to improve product quality and consistency.
• Identify and resolve process-related issues to minimize defects and reduce scrap/reject rates.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process stability and yield.
• Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and machine utilization.
• Analyze machine performance and downtime to identify opportunities for increased productivity.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team in troubleshooting and process improvement.
• Develop and implement an engineering skill-up training plan aligned with operational and competency requirements.
• Monitor and achieve the Training Plan Completion Rate.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and identify additional development opportunities for the engineering team.

Work Schedule: 5-day work week

The Senior Production Engineer oversees injection molding efficiency by solving technical issues, optimizing machine performance, and training the engineering team to meet production goals.

Other responsibilities include:

• Optimize injection molding processes to improve product quality and consistency.


• Identify and resolve process-related issues to minimize defects and reduce scrap/reject rates.


• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process stability and yield.


• Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and machine utilization.
