Job summary

SEG Manufacturing Philippines Inc. is seeking a Senior Procurement professional to manage daily procurement, sourcing, and vendor relations from its Basak, Lapu-Lapu City location. The role requires leadership of a procurement team, strong negotiation skills, and experience with ERP systems.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in procurement within manufacturing, excellent communication, and the ability to implement cost-control strategies while ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in manufacturing.
• Able to lead procurement team and manage daily operations.
• Experienced in supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, and vendor management.
• Good negotiation and communication skills with suppliers.
• Understand procurement strategies, cost control, and sourcing processes.
• Able to analyze pricing, suppliers, and procurement risks.
• Experienced in handling PO, delivery tracking, and procurement documents.
• Familiar with procurement procedures and company policies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Willing to join immediately and work in Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, quotation comparison, purchase requests, and purchase orders.
• Communicate and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and service agreements with suppliers.
• Analyze procurement costs and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, pricing, and service.
• Prepare and maintain procurement documents, contracts, quotations, and purchasing records.
• Track delivery schedules and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding procurement needs and specifications.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and policies.
