Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2–5 years in procurement or purchasing.
• Experience in engineering, construction, renewable energy, electrical, manufacturing, or industrial industries is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement cycle including sourcing, RFPs, supplier evaluation, PO processing, and delivery coordination.
• Ensure timely procurement to support project schedules and operations.
• Monitor orders and supplier commitments for on-time delivery.
• Source, evaluate, and accredit suppliers for value and quality.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and identify improvements.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations to secure best value.
• Neotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and contracts within policy.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while meeting timelines.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Project teams to forecast procurement needs.
• Assist in inventory planning and procurement forecasting.
• Prepare procurement records, POs, supplier contracts, and documentation.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies and internal controls.
• Support audit requirements with complete documentation.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Project Management, Warehouse, Finance, and Logistics.
• Resolve procurement issues impacting timelines or efficiency.
• Provide regular procurement status updates to management.

Job Overview

The Procurement Specialist will manage the end-to-end procurement process and ensure the timely, cost-effective, and efficient acquisition of materials, equipment, and services required for company operations and projects. The role works closely with Engineering, Project Management, Warehouse, and Finance teams to support project execution while maintaining quality, supplier performance, and cost competitiveness.

• At least 2–5 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Experience in engineering, construction, renewable energy, electrical, manufacturing, or industrial industries is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
• Experience using ERP or procurement management systems is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
