Job summary

SEG Manufacturing Philippines Inc. is seeking a skilled IT Engineer to join the Basak, Lapu-Lapu City team. The role oversees daily IT operations, server and network maintenance, and cross-department communication to support business systems.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field and has 3+ years of IT operation experience with strong networking, database, and ERP/MES familiarity. Proactive learning and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer related field is required.
• 3+ years of internal IT operation or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of networks, equipment configuration and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of servers, networks and related hardware to ensure system stability.
• Manage core network equipment selection, installation and maintenance.
• Plan and execute network design and construction.
• Coordinate access control, security and data protection across departments.
• Provide technical support for computer systems and MES data backups.

About the role;
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Engineer to join our team at SEG Manufacturing Philippines Inc. in MEZ II, Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in our organization, overseeing daily research and development, also ensuring effective communication with another department.

What we're looking for;

Minimum Bachelor degree of computer related major,

Has more than 3 years of internal IT operation or relevant

Proficient in computer and network knowledge, network equipment configuration, use and maintenance, with strong hands-on ability；

Familiar with mainstream network security products and storage network configuration management

Proficient in at least one development language (JAVA, C#, C++, etc.) and database technology (Oracle /MsSQL/MySQL, etc.);

Good learning ability, keep an eye on new technology and knowledge；

Familiar with ERP, WMS, OA, MES and other system operation and maintenance experience is preferred;

What tasks can we assign for;

Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the company's computer room, servers, network equipment, monitoring and other hardware to ensure the normal operation of the company's system and network;

Responsible for core network equipment selection, installation and maintenance;

Responsible for the company's network planning and construction;

Responsible for supervising and managing the use of computers and printers in various departments, ensuring the security of the company's network and data;

Responsible for solving various problems and technical support of the company's computer in use;

Responsible for factory MES system daily operation and maintenance and data backup;
