Job summary

Upgrade Energy Philippines is seeking a proactive Procurement Supervisor to oversee daily procurement activities for solar energy projects. You will supervise procurement officers, review requests and POs, and lead supplier negotiations to optimize cost and delivery performance.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement, with leadership experience and a strong background in renewable energy or related industries.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
Minimum 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Experience in renewable energy, solar EPC, construction, electrical, or industrial sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise Procurement Officers and Purchasing Officers in daily activities.
Review purchase requests, POs, and supplier recommendations within authority.
Ensure timely procurement of solar modules, inverters, mounting structures, electrical materials, cables, BOS components, tools, PPE, and indirect materials.
Monitor procurement schedules to support project timelines and operational needs.
Lead supplier negotiations for best commercial and contractual terms.
Develop sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Warehouse, Finance, and Logistics to forecast requirements.
Review material requirement plans and procurement schedules.
