DM Consunji, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the development and execution of procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, availability and supplier performance on major projects.
The role requires extensive experience in strategic sourcing, contract administration, and risk management within construction or real estate development contexts, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business objectives.
The Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, availability, supplier performance, and overall project value.
Develops and implements the project's overall procurement strategy
Aligns procurement strategies with business objectives, project requirements, and construction priorities
Establishes procurement policies, standards, and governance frameworks
Develops strategic sourcing strategies for construction materials, equipment, services, and subcontractors
Identifies reliable and competitive sources based on cost, quality, capacity, and supply capability
Develops strategies to optimize procurement costs and improve project profitability
Establishes supplier performance standards and evaluation frameworks
Identifies and assesses strategic supply-chain risks that may affect construction projects
Translates project requirements and construction schedules into strategic procurement plans
Negotiates pricing, payment terms, warranties, delivery commitments, and contractual conditions
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
At least 8 to 10 years of Procurement Managerial experience
Preferably in construction, engineering, or real estate development
